7 Steps to Retardproof Kimchi making

My friends and i were hanging out at Plaza Singapura yesterday, and we happened to walk into Daiso. Since we were huge-ass fans of the korean culture (food, variety shows, etc.) , we decided to make some kimchi! :)

they sell these packets of kimchi chilli powder for $2/pack, and with that one packet u can flavor up to about 700g of cabbage. so yeah, here are the
7 Detailed Steps to Retardproof Kimchi making:

Step 1: most vital ingredient. buy kimchi powder.

Step 2: equally important ingredient. cabbage.

Step 3: wash and chop cabbage up into smaller portions.

Step 4: coat the chopped-up cabbage with kimchi powder. do it layer by layer so that the powder is equally spread out.

Step 5(a) : cover the container and give it a good shake.

Step 5 (b): the proper method to shake a kimchi box would be to squat 45 degrees with tupperware in front of chest. or else all flavors would be lost. :P

Step 6: sorry, but i think i would rate this as the VITAL-EST step. include your friends into the process, so that u can boss them about to do the cutting and washing of cabbages. :)

Step 7: Lastly, put the air tight kimchi container into the fridge and keep it refrigerated for at least a day. Its taste improves the longer u keep it in the fridge.

Total time wasted: 15 minutes only. :)

Kimchi goes well with ramyun or jajangmyun. :) but my friends and i prefer to eat it with grilled pork belly slices. YUMMMMMMMZ!
(sighs... how la to lose weight like thattttt....)
